Café Indiependent is an inclusive venue, and we welcome Deaf and disabled people to the venue.
Café Indiependent has step free access into the venue from the street. The venue is set over 3 levels, and the whole space is accessible via a stair lift. There is also an accessible toilet located on the top floor. If you are happy to use stairs, you come in to the middle level of the venue, and there are 9 steps up to the top (where the toilets are located) and 12 steps to the basement, which is where the stage is located.

Accessible car parking
We do not have a car park on site, but there is a car park located on Mary Street. This is 50 metres away from the venue. This car park has 4 accessible spaces, The car park is free to use from 6pm
Taxis are able to drop customers off right outside the venue.
We are a short distance away from Scunthorpe station, and the nearest bus stop is 70 metres away.
The venue is open all day, but the gig room will usually be open from around 7:30pm. If you require early entry to the space, please let us know, and we can arrange this for you. We can also help you find a suitable space to position yourself for the show
We have one accessible toilet within the venue. This is located on the top floor of the venue, which is accessible via stairlift.
Customers with Medical Requirements
We welcome customers who may need to bring food, drink, medicine or medical equipment to manage a medical equipment
We welcome assistance dogs to the venue
We may use strobe lighting at the venue, please get in contact if you have any concerns about this.
